ABOUT ABOUT

The Philadelphia Department of Commerce presents Manufacturing Reimagined, a series of tours of Philadelphia-based manufacturing, fabrication, and design facilities. Experience firsthand the capabilities of local companies who have reengineered themselves and see what products are currently produced. Challenge your own creative capacity to Re-Imagine new futures for existing equipment.

On June 10th, Manufacturing Reimagined visits Printfresh, a leading surface design studio specializing in printed patterns and t-shirt concepts used by fashion companies and fabric manufacturers around the world. Founded in 2006 by the husband and wife team of Amy and Leo Voloshin, Printfresh creates one of a kind textile designs that are then retired after being sold to clients such as Urban Outfitters, Abercrombie & Fitch, Lands End, Kohl’s, Element, American Eagle, Aeropostale, Justice, Pottery Barn and Michael Kors.

The tour includes an extensive collection of vintage clothing and accessories from the 1800s to the 1980s, and the remarkable building itself, a former paper box factory acquired and converted into studios by Amy and Leo. Hear why Printfresh is happy to call Philadelphia its home.

Cost is FREE, but registration is limited and required! If you find registration sold out, please join the wait list as we gauge interest for future tours.
